A permanent public charitable trust. We survey buildings at risk, document them to professional standard, and safeguard the record for the long term.
Your donation supports fieldwork - the survey teams, the equipment, the travel to the buildings that need to be measured before they change. It supports the processing and cataloguing of records, and the long-term maintenance of the safekept record. There is no minimum donation.
Heritage Architecture Foundation is authorised to receive Corporate Social Responsibility contributions under the Companies Act, 2013. Our work spans heritage, education, culture, research and documentation - areas covered by most CSR mandates. We welcome partnerships that support specific survey programmes, publications, or our fellowship scheme.
Write to us →We accept donations of drawings, photographs, field notes, and archival material relevant to India's historic built environment. If you hold material that should be in a permanent, professionally managed record - family photographs of buildings, old survey drawings, construction documents - we would like to hear from you. All donations are subject to a formal acceptance process.
Write to us →We run a regular internship programme for architecture students and young professionals. We also offer field volunteer opportunities on surveys - typically four to seven days of intensive fieldwork alongside our survey team. No prior experience is required, but you should be prepared to work carefully and to learn.
Write to us →Heritage Architecture Foundation is an irrevocable public charitable trust, designed to outlast its founders. A bequest to the foundation supports the long-term maintenance of the record and the continuation of survey work beyond any individual lifetime.
